Toileting Sling (Access Sling)

An open style sling, designed to allow sufficient room to partially remove clothing for toileting, yet give comfort and support to client.
This is achieved by incorporating padding under the arms and support across the chest, this gives the opportunity to have less sling material around the legs and buttocks.
Not suitable for all clients due to its open design.
Available with or without head support.

Solid nylon construction. Mesh construction. Solid polyester construction. Available in Small (green binding), Medium (yellow binding), and Large (red binding). Available with or without head support. Padded legs and under arms. Shape designed for maximum comfort. Three variations of loop attachment lengths. Webbing attachments on sling covered to prevent chafing. Fully washable and quick drying. Australian made and International Standards tested. S.W.L. 175kgs.

  • Important Note:
    Always use slings with label and care instructions facing outwards, so that correct side of sling is used.
    Always position centre of sling at centre of clients back, and as low as possible at bottom of spine, slightly tucking under buttocks.
    Always check Safe Working Load of Lifter and Sling, Use lesser of two as maximum Safe Working Load.
