General Purpose Sling High Cut
The High Cut Sling is essentially the same cut as a standard GP sling but cut higher in the centre section to achieve more access to the waist line of client for help in undressing and toileting. Although not as accessible as the full toileting sling it certainly comes half way between the full sling and toileting.
Advantage is the fact that client has his or her arms inside the sling where as the toileting sling has support from under arms (outside of sling). Both incorporate a chest strap to increase support.
The GP, Full Body or All Purpose sling support from legs and buttocks. (The most secure and stable lift)
The GP High Cut and All Purpose High Cut support from the legs and chest strap, (Open design not suitable for all clients,)
The Toileting sling supports from the legs chest strap and under arms. (Open design not suitable for all clients,)
