Lap Straps

Lap straps are useful to provide security for both client and carer whilst client is in a seated position. Used on a bath chair, wheelchair, dining chair or lounge chair, a lap strap can provide that security to help prevent the client slipping down and/or falling out of the chair.

One Piece Lap Strap
A one piece lap strap made from 50mm seat belt webbing, with a quick release plastic buckle. Other sizes available on request. Adjustable. Washable. Quick and easy to remove for use on another chair. May be client controlled, position buckle in front of client. May be carer controlled, position buckle behind client. When used in conjunction with lap pad (32111) will prevent client slipping down in chair. (lap strap and pad must be located over the pelvic area- see instructions) If upper body control is required, use in conjunction with shoulder support (33101).

Two Piece Lap Strap
A two piece lap strap with quick release plastic buckle, located to the chair via two tri-glide buckles. (Prod no; 31301 Blue & 31302 Black) A two piece lap strap with quick release buckle , located to chair via loops at each end of lap strap. (Prod no; 31601 Blue & 31602 Black) Adjustable and washable. May be used with lap pad (32111) and shoulder support (33101). Ideal for situations when lap strap is required to be left on the chair. Client controlled only.
